About Me

It all began my freshman year of college; I was an obese teenager who was struggling to do everyday tasks. I could no longer fit into my jeans and I hid under baggy sweatshirts and in the comfort of my room, eating more than my body could handle; thus reaching my highest weight of 240
pounds.

After confronting my obsession with food, I completely changed my eating ways and eventually dropped 105 pounds in about 16 months. Since loosing 100 pounds I made the decision to go completely vegan and currently eat a 99.9% plant based diet. I love pretzels and bread :0

In my spare time I enjoy running, skiing, listening to music, reading, cooking and doing anything exciting! I recently completed my first half marathon and training for my second. I am currently a Junior at Penn State University,  studying Nutrition. My true passion is cooking and my ultimate goal, is to peruse my dream of becoming a vegan chef; so I can share my love of food with others.

I hope through this blog, I can share my recipes and tips that I use on a daily basis that help me maintain my healthy lifestyle.
